Felicia Rogers, born and raised in the southern part of the United States, is a Christian wife and mother. She is just your average, ordinary woman, with a side interest-- writing. For eleven years, every waking moment of her life was consumed with changing diapers, wiping noses, and kissing scrapes. But now that her children have grown and she enjoys a modicum of freedom, in addition to taking care of hearth and home, she writes! She enjoys adding a flavor of realism and humor to her all too real romance stories. For what is love without a little laughter?
1) What genres are your favorites to read? How about to write in?
Personally my favorite genre to read is romance. If we have to digger deeper I would say historical romance with a twist of time travel.
As far as my favorite genre to write, that is a tricky question. So far I’ve written and published two YA paranormal suspense novels, two short contemporary romances, and a historical suspense romance, which I hope to be the first of a five part series. Within the next month I will have a chick-lit and an inspirational suspense published as well. I really don’t have a favorite genre to write. I enjoy placing every story that comes into my head down on paper.
2) Who is one of your favorite characters that you have written? Please tell us about him/her and what book they are in.
My favorite character I’ve written would have to be Cedric. He was the first male hero I really created and he is in the book, There Your Heart Will Be Also. The reasons I like him, is he’s Scottish, and he wears a kilt. He’s also protective, flirty, and handsome.
3) For those who have not read your work yet, what book would you recommend starting with?
Recommending a book to a new reader is always difficult. In the past year I’ve noticed that not all readers have the same tastes. What I like others may not. But I guess if the reader is into YA paranormal I would suggest my book, The Key. If they are into historical novels I would go with There Your Heart Will Be Also. However, if they are just looking for a short romantic read they could try, The Holiday Truce or The Perfect Rose. As you can see, I have something for everyone.
4) Where can readers find and connect with you on the web?
Readers can find me at my website ~ Facebook ~ Goodreads ~ Email
5) What is one thing that you could not live without?
Coffee! You ask what is the one thing I can’t live without and I give you coffee. No way could I go more than a day and not drink some of the steamy brew. It wakes me up and starts my morning. I enjoy the smell, the taste with the right about of flavored creamer, the warmth, I love it all!
Just to share a little secret, I have a shirt which carries a message concerning this very thing. It says, “Is there life before coffee?” And my answer is, “Of course not!”

Coffee --- me too! Doubt I'd survive without it.
Though I've had to cut back slightly on volume, I drink one small cup about every hour ... in the morning.
No more coffee in the afternoons or evenings, though.
thanks for the chance to read these wonderful stories :)

Those book covers are gorgeous and both stories sound intriguing. And I think it's grfeat that you write in so many different genres.
