Quiz - What Crazy Writer Are You?

The Which Crazy Writer Are You? quiz

Your result...

Stephen King

It's entirely possibly that you've made a deal with the devil. Everything you touch turns to gold. There's talent there, to be sure, but you tend to be repetitive... and you tend to attract weird circumstances: two of your most common plot devices are books that cross over into reality and cars that try to kill people... and then you're nearly killed by a speeding van as you walk your dog? Um, creepy. What goes on in that head of yours? Rabid dogs? Crazed fans? Possessed hotels? Zombie pets? If you're serious about retiring for good, you might want to consider medication.

Well, I would hope I am just myself (crazy writer wise) but it turns out I'm Tom Wolfe: Ah, the life of a wall flower. You get to hang out with the most interesting people - radio DJs, hot rodders, hippies, Hell's Angels, Wall Street tycoons, frat boys - and are completely happy putting them into the spotlight. You're completely happy hanging back with your martini and your little notebook, jotting down all your little observations, in sight but out of mind. Sure, everyone at the party knows who you are - but do they know the real you? And, more importantly, if you want to fade into the background, what's with the bright white suit?

You are funny, witty, charming... and have, um, "unique" personal tastes. You like to have fun, you don't hide who you are, and you don't particularly give a damn what people think about you; you're just as likely to be seen in an all-male Amsterdam brothel as a London literary society dinner. You see beauty in life, and humor in tragedy. If it weren't for the hosts' fears of you saying or doing something indecent, you might very well be the perfect dinner companion.

I would say this is pretty close to defining me. Loved it! Thanks! Indigo

I'm Tom Wolfe - which is appropriate, as I AM a Wolfe!

Although I like Stephen King, I would not want to be him. Although ... it might be quite interesting to know what does go on in his head.

Are these writers all male? curious, regarding the fact that the vast majority of that quiz takers are female. and all are taking it for granted.
