A quick post
Ok, first of all, I want to apologize for not getting the winners of the Barack Obama LIFE book drawn yet. We were gone most of the weekend and then later Sunday night, while rushing my son to the kitchen sick because he was about to throw up, not getting there in time and ending up slipping and falling in vomit, I somehow literally busted up the skin between my 4th and 5th toes. So we made a late night trip to the emergency room, I had to have stitches and now am basically stuck in bed or on the recliner with my foot elevated. I have had some good reading time at least, lol. I just wanted to let everyone know that I will get the winners drawn, it just may be closer to the end of the week. I will be offline most of the week, I think, unless my stinkin foot starts to feel better (which hopefully it will soon). I think once the swelling goes down, that will help alot with the throbbing and all of that fun stuff. UGH! This the the time I REALLY wish I had a laptop, lol!

Oh. My. Gosh. I hope you and your son are both feeling better! I've done the rushing the kid (and dog) to an uncarpeted area to puke quite a few times, too. Sounds like you probably got the worse end of the incident though!
Oh no April, I hope it heals quickly. I hope your son is feeling all better after all that. Now would be an excellent time for a laptop, that's for sure. Take care!

Diary of an Eccentric
Thanks so much, everyone for the well wishes. I am doing much better. I have made myself walk along the side of my foot, so I am much more mobile - yay!! A couple more days and things should be good as new. Zach is doing great. He has one of those very sensitive gag reflexes, so sometimes when he is eating,crying, etc, he throws up. He had been nibbling on popcorn and a piece of pancake (yay, I know, weird combo) and I think he may have just got too much in there, or something. So, once he threw up, he was fine. When we fell, I made sure to turn so that he would not fall hard on the floor or beneath me. So he is ornry as ever and being a good mommy's helper.
Janel - lol, I've done the same with our dog too. Once I even got him to throw up in the toilet, lol. They are so much just like kids!
