A most splendid surprise!
I received a very fun and wonderful surprise from the UPS man this afternoon! A package from Simon & Schuster was on my doorstep and within it was Still Alice by Lisa Genova, Dog On It by Spencer Quinn and The Book of Unholy Michief by Elle Newmark! I am one happy girl! I used to review for S & S, but hadn't received anything from them in a while. They sent a letter with the books stating that they had redone some things for the Advisory Board and to expect "books to review with increased frequency this year"!! Yay! What could be more exciting to hear to a book junkie than that, lol! Does anyone else review for Simon and Schuster? I have discovered so many great books and authors from them in the past! I can't wait to see what goodies this year will bring!

So jealous! Those books seem to be the big three that they are promoting right now. I am dying to read STILL ALICE but don't have it yet. I am getting ready to start THE BOOK OF UNHOLY MISCHIEF.
I wish I had a blog so I could review books:) I am a member of Librarything Early Reviewers and have received a few from them. I want to read STILL ALICE so bad. I saw it online and I think People magazine had a review of it.
I received that box as well and wondered why! I don't recall seeing a letter along with it. I was on the S&S Advisory Board so it makes sense. I'm glad they are revamping it. Some months I received three books, and then sometimes I didn't receive books for several months!
