I have to start out by saying that Messiah Interviews was a bit different than I had first anticipated, while reading the book description. By saying this, I am meaning that it was different in the regard to my previous thinking that it was more of a fictionalized story. Messiah Interviews is a story of fiction, just written in a way that "teaches and guides the reader", rather than just telling a story.
The author, Mr. Pollock writes in a very beautiful way - his words are prose upon the paper. I found the fictional interviews with the biblical characters to be very interesting and captivating. While some of the writing did puzzle me ( mostly I did not understand when the author wrote God's name, it was always written as follows: G-d, the same with Lord: L-rd) Perhaps that is the way of the Hebrew religion? That may have been one drawback for me - my ignorance of the Hebrew religion. This being set aside, I found myself enjoying Messiah Interviews and feel that Mr. Pollock displays a great talent for writing, as well as passing on wonderful lessons to his readers.
Messiah Interviews is a memorable and touching story of twin brothers Yinnon and Yoseph and their journey to find answers. Readers are taken beyond the realm of the here and now and are led to a place where they are enabled to search within themselves. This is a story that could easily be read and reread, with new things discovered with each reading.
I recommend Messiah Interviews for anyone looking for a deeper, more in-depth type of story. Writing aside, I do want to mention that I really love the cover. It has an old world quality to it that fits the story within perfectly.

Product Description:
Ever since the Creation of Adam and Eve, man has grappled with knowing whether life exists after death. Because humans achieve the possible, while God accomplishes the impossible, only the Creator knows our fate and destiny at the End of Days. Scientist Jerry Pollock weaves his Messiah Interviews story of an imperfect life on Earth with an imaginative account of being interviewed in Heaven to be the Messiah. The writing becomes a testament to Divine morality, and to finding truth and sincerity in one's heart. As readers embark on a journey of knowledge and understanding, they'll join Jerry on an exploration of the implications of biblical history on our modern world. Through a series of unexplainable events, Jerry empowers readers to decide if an additional personal spiritual effort is worth making in this life, in order to possibly gain entrance to an uncertain futuristic Garden of Eden, the Messianic Age. In a process of the dreamlike interviews with biblical personalities *the angel Gabriel, Methuselah, Chanoch, Seth, King David, Moses, Jacob, Abraham and the prophet Isaiah *Jerry is forced to bear his soul and his own hidden demons. As human beings, we are all flawed. That's how the Creator made us. During the course of reading the book, readers have the opportunity to ponder the improvement of their own imperfections, in order to meet the requirements set out in the Messiah Interviews for admission into a future blissful life at the End of Days. The book is God-centered and discusses, briefly or at length, various topics, including The Ten Commandments, Creation, Evolution, Good and Evil, Primal Therapy, Bipolar Disorder, Resurrection, Aging, Twelve Tribes of Israel, Monotheistic Religions, Third Temple, Messiah, and the Messianic Age.

About the Author:Jerry Pollock is the author of seventy-five scientific publications. His background includes both a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto, a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, and Postdoctoral training in Microbiology at the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Pollock is currently Professor Emeritus in the Oral Biology and Pathology Department in the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook on Long Island. Jerry’s first writer of the arts book, Divinely Inspired: Spiritual Awakening of a Soul, was a spiritual memoir originally published in 2003. The second edition of Divinely Inspired will be reissued in Paperback on Jan. 1, 2009. His ‘not so fictional’ novel, Messiah Interviews: Belonging to God, due out also on Jan. 1, 2009, is Jerry’s way of giving back to the Creator. Jerry is married to Marcia, his bashert or destined one. They reside in Florida.
Historically, I was born in Toronto, but never knew what it meant to be spiritual until I was 57. I am 67 now. My childhood, teenage, and young adult years were emotionally ravaged in an unloving, non-nurturing environment. Despite an unyielding anxiety and a neurotic repression of feelings, I succeeded in Academics with a B. Sc. and M. Sc. in Pharmacy. The beginnings of my interest in scientific research and a Canadian scholarship to study abroad caused me to leave Toronto in 1966 for Israel. I completed my Ph.D. in Biophysics in 1969 at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
After finishing my doctorate, I left Toronto for the United States. I wound up as a Postdoctoral Fellow and subsequently as an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at the New York University School of Medicine. In 1973, I moved to Long Island to join the faculty of the Oral Biology & Pathology Department of the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook University. In 1982, I was promoted to full professor, and in 1983 I married Marcia. In 1990, I became an American citizen, but the following year I suffered my first bout of Bipolar Disorder at age 50. In 1995, the Manic Depression forced me to take a five year long term disability from Stony Brook, but I returned in August of 2000 to once again take up my professorial duties. In July 2006, I retired and became Professor Emeritus. As stated, I have published seventy-five articles in peer reviewed scientific journals and books, and I at one time held seven U.S. Patents. Unusual miraculous events of Divine intervention, described in both Divinely Inspired and Messiah Interviews, have led me to a spiritual awakening and freedom from Bipolar Disorder. Today, I am seeking inner peace by living each day with spiritual meaning in the Image of my Creator.

April, This looks like a different kind of book that looks at the view of Messiah in a fictional way.
